OSPREY AREA RATEPAYER'S ASSOC.
4105 Lakesyde Rd Princeton, B.C., Canada, V0X 1W0 email: ratepayers @ ospreylake.ca |
Osprey Lake is primarily a recreational area approximately ½ way between Princeton and Summerland. There are about 60 full time families plus around 200 seasonal residences. It is also known as Bankeir and the Three Lakes Area (also includes Link and Chain Lakes). The Osprey Area Ratepayer’s Assoc. was formed by local property owners over 40 years ago to protect the local environment, encourage community involvement, and enhance the local area. Each year on the Labour Day weekend we have a community “Corn Roast” where the families of property owners and their guests get together for two days of fun activities and enjoy some free Corn-on-the-cob. In addition, the Ratepayers funds are also used support the:

- New Year's Eve Osprey Lake Fireworks Display
- Picnic tables, gazebos, & boat racks at public accesses
- Maintenance of public accesses - removal of dead trees, garbage, etc.
- Signage around Osprey and Link lakes to remind people to respect the environment, clean up, etc.
